Helen came to visit Scruff a terrier I had recently bought, without much of his past history. At two years old,he had established a worrying habit of aggression towards dog and certain people. Helen explained his behaviour and ways to overcome it. The simple tequniques Helen showed me resulted in Scruff's reactions to people knocking on the door being completely transformed as early as the very next day! Absolutely amazing, and due to Helen's understanding of Scruff, his behviour and how I could overcome it. Helen also supervised a meeting with a dog Scruff had previously 'attacked'. (Both male dogs and unnuetered). Again Helen explained exactly what the conversation between the dogs was, merely by observing their body language. Within 15 minutes the dogs had been introduced without incident and quickly established a hierarchy and friendship. Both dogs played happily for the following 3 hours after her visit. Helen also showed us a 'leader collar' we could use, as both dogs had issues on the lead. (Helen also, thankfully, has these for sale). Unbelievably, once again, both dogs behave impeccbly on the lead. Such a relief. Helen really understands what make these little chaps tick, and how to change their behaviour with that knowledge. I would enthusiastically encourage everyone having any kind of concern with their dog's behavior to ask for Helen to visit and advise She's definitely worth her weight in gold.

From the moment Helen walked through the door i felt confident that she would sort out both Toffee's rough play and not taking any notice of commands, and my family too! As we have never owned a dog before we were at a loss as to how to handle our full of life, bouncy, energetic springer spaniel puppy. During the first session Toffee was "sitting" and "leaving" and then the following weeks progressed to stopping the rough play. We are now working on not jumping up at people coming to the house and how to act when someone comes to the door.
Helen has been invaluable to Toffee and my family and i am sure without her help we would not have coped. Helen is our very own "Dog Whisperer"! Julie Keane & Toffee the Springer Spaniel

We called Helen when we were at our wits end with one of our Spaniels growling at our son. Our vet was of attitude that we should consider having him destroyed as he may move from growling to biting.
To cut a long story short, we had Helen over for a couple of hours and within a couple of days of following her advice Dobbie is a much happier chap. The aggression has pretty much tailed away so we're all far more chilled as a result. We've even seen a big improvement in the behaviour of our younger dog, Breck, another rescue spaniel with a few 'issues'.
Helen certainly knows her stuff!

My dog Sonny caused me concern because he started to nip people unexpectedly and without apparent reason. I worried about it for a long time thinking it was my fault and not knowing how to deal with this problem.
chatting with Helen made me realise what was happening, both with Sonny and myself. Helen not only understood what was causing his unpredictable behaviour but also was sympathetic to my feelings as his owner. With Helen's advice I have begun to address Sonny's difficulties with confidence and in the knowledge that she will support me in my efforts.
